Who are we ?
The Women and children legal research foundation (WCLRF)
was established in March, 2003 with the efforts of a
group of Afghan women Lawyers. WCLRF is conducting
different research and advocacy projects on women
and children rights in Afghanistan.
WCLRF is legally registered organization by the
Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Women Affairs and
is a member of Afghan Women Network (AWN)
Our objectives:
1.
To analysis causes of violence against women
and children
2.
To advocate for protection of women and
children from violence through advocacy campaigns.
3.
To raise awareness of community. Gov’t and CS
on causes of violence against women and Children.
4.
To raise awareness of Community on rights of
women and Children.
5.
To reduce violence against Afghan women
through advocacy, Research and Publication.
Our strategies :

Conduct research programs about women and children
problems in Afghanistan.

Conduct Seminars and conferences
·
Arrange workshops for local communities to increase
awareness as findings of research.
·
Distribute research reports of foundation in
Communities and relevant government sectors with aim
the protection of women and children
·
Publication of Waqeyat (Reality) Bimonthly magazine
that reflect the issues of women and children in
Afghanistan.
